I’m on the AI Core team at Posit, where I work on AI for data science. I also co-author the Posit AI newsletter with Simon Couch.

Previously, I helped build Posit Academy and co-taught an introductory data science class at Stanford, where we created open educational materials on data visualization and programming in R.

I studied Symbolic Systems at Stanford (BS/MS). For my master’s thesis, I worked with Hyowon Gweon and Sophie Bridgers in the Social Learning Lab, studying how young children use information about others’ failures to decide how to help.
